Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh: In a tragic incident, a young woman collapsed and died of cardiac arrest while dancing at a wedding function in Vidisha district. The shocking moment was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media.
The deceased has been identified as Parinita Jain, a resident of Indore. She had come to Vidisha to attend her cousin’s wedding. The incident took place during the ‘haldi’ ceremony at a resort.
Parinita, dressed in a saree, was dancing to the Bollywood song Lehra Ke Balkha Ke when she suddenly collapsed on stage. Family members, some of whom are doctors, immediately tried to revive her with CPR, but she did not respond.

She was rushed to a private hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. Reports indicate that Parinita was an MBA graduate and lived with her parents in South Tukoganj, Indore. Tragically, her younger brother had also passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 12.
After the video of the incident went viral, social media users expressed their grief and concern. One user wrote, “Live in the moment because everything is temporary. Om Shanti.” Another commented, “Many young people are dying due to heart attacks these days, especially during wedding celebrations that demand sleepless nights and continuous physical activity.”
The heartbreaking incident has raised awareness about sudden cardiac arrests among young people and the importance of heart health.
