1.18 Crore Forms Collected in a Single Day; 11.26% Uploaded on ECINET

New Delhi: The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar is moving ahead swiftly and smoothly. This crucial exercise is being carried out as per the Election Commission of India’s order dated 24 June 2025.

The process is aimed at updating the electoral rolls before the draft publication on 1 August 2025. Only the names of voters whose forms are received during this period will be included in the draft rolls.

As of 6 PM today, a total of 2,87,98,460 Enumeration Forms have been collected. This accounts for 36.47% of the total 7,89,69,844 electors enrolled in Bihar as of 24 June.

Notably, 1,18,49,252 forms were collected in just the last 24 hours. With 18 days still remaining for submission, the numbers are expected to rise sharply.

Uploading of forms is also ongoing. So far, 11.26% of the total electors’ forms have been uploaded on the ECINET portal.

Electors can also download partially filled forms from the ECI portal (https://voters.eci.gov.in) or the ECINET App. They can upload their completed forms directly through the App.

To assist voters, 77,895 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are going door-to-door. In addition, 20,603 more BLOs are being deployed to ensure timely completion.

Over 4 lakh volunteers, including government staff, NCC cadets, and NSS members, are helping elderly, sick, PwD, and vulnerable voters with the process.

At the supervisory level, 239 EROs, 963 AEROs, 38 DEOs, and the CEO of Bihar are monitoring the drive across all 243 Assembly Constituencies.

Further support is being provided by 1,54,977 Booth Level Agents (BLAs) appointed by political parties.

With active public participation and administrative support, the SIR process in Bihar is showing encouraging results.
