Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently appeared on his nephew Arhaan Khan’s podcast, Dumb Biryani. During the episode, Salman humorously reprimanded Arhaan and his friends for speaking in English instead of Hindi.
At one point, Salman interrupted them, saying, “Pehle to aap ye sab Hindi me karo” (Do this podcast in Hindi). One of Arhaan’s friends admitted, “Hindi bohot kharab hai” (Our Hindi is very weak). Salman, in a lighthearted manner, repeated the remark and insisted, “Speak in Hindi from now on, and I will correct it.”
Arhaan laughed and mentioned that they were already taking Hindi lessons. However, he joked about a language barrier being inevitable. Salman, continuing his playful scolding, said, “You should be ashamed of yourselves that you don’t know Hindi. You need to cater to the audience who speaks Hindi entirely.” He then asked them, “Are you planning to make money from this podcast?”
Apart from the fun banter, Salman shared some interesting personal insights. He revealed that he usually sleeps only for two hours a day. The actor said he occasionally gets a full 7–8 hours of rest once a month. He also mentioned that he sometimes naps during short breaks on set but can only sleep when he has nothing else to do.
Salman humorously added that he manages to sleep well only in situations beyond his control, like during turbulence on a flight or when he was in jail.
The Dumb Biryani episode featuring Salman Khan gave fans a mix of fun moments and valuable insights into the superstar’s life.
