New Delhi – Renowned singer Kailash Kher appeared on India TV’s popular show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ hosted by Rajat Sharma. During the candid conversation, Kher shared his views on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian culture, recent political developments, and his role as an artist in the nation’s journey.
Kher, known for his spiritual and powerful singing, didn’t shy away from expressing his admiration for PM Modi. He said,
“Modiji bahut pyare lagte hain. Bahut hi gehri aatma hai (Modiji is lovely. He has a deep soul).”
Praising Sanatan Dharma and Cultural Revival
Kher emphasized that under Modi’s leadership, India’s Sanatan Dharma, saints, and holy places have received respect like never before.
He said, “Never before have our saints, mahapurush, and symbols of culture got so much honour.”
🇮🇳 Operation Sindoor and Patriotic Song
The singer also talked about his involvement in ‘Operation Sindoor’, a recent military action against Pakistan.
“I sang for the pride of Indians,” Kher declared, adding that it was not just about music, but his duty as a citizen and artist.
Music After BJP’s Delhi Victory
Kher also mentioned a song he composed when the BJP won the Delhi Assembly elections.
“There are moments when if you are from Delhi and have seen its problems, you feel like singing,” he said.
He called it a spontaneous and heartfelt tribute to the moment.
Clarifies Stand on AAP & Anna Hazare
Addressing past claims about supporting Arvind Kejriwal, Kher clarified that he had sung for Anna Hazare, not for Kejriwal or AAP.
“I did not even know the man whom you are naming,” he said firmly.
His support, he stressed, was always issue-based and guided by conscience.
Artist’s Role in Nation-Building
Kher concluded by saying that artists are not just entertainers.
“It is our duty to create awareness, uplift souls, and support what is right,” he said.
