Mumbai: Nita Ambani once again showcased her impeccable fashion sense over the weekend as she graced a special dinner in honor of now-President Donald Trump. Draped in a stunning jamewar saree by renowned designer Tarun Tahiliani, the chairperson of the Reliance Foundation embraced her cultural roots with grace and modern sophistication.
Crafted over an impressive 1,900 hours, the exquisite saree featured intricate aari work and delicate French knots, highlighting the artistry of Kashmiri craftsmanship. Paired with a contemporary tapered blouse accented with a chunky diamond brooch, Nita’s ensemble seamlessly blended tradition with contemporary elegance. Completing her look with pearl-and-diamond-studded chandbalis, she proved yet again that her sartorial choices are a perfect blend of sophistication and heritage.
Earlier, Nita and her husband, Mukesh Ambani, had attended a private reception in honor of President Trump before his Inauguration Day. For that occasion, Nita chose a custom Kanchipuram silk saree by Swadesh, woven by master artisan B Krishnamoorthy. Adorned with intricate motifs and paired with a Manish Malhotra velvet blouse, Nita’s accessories, including an 18th-century parrot-shaped pendant, stole the spotlight.
Nita and Mukesh Ambani were part of an exclusive guest list that included notable figures like Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Tim Cook, and Sundar Pichai at President Trump’s swearing-in ceremony.
