Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has spoken about the death threats he has been receiving, saying his fate is in God’s hands.
At a promotional event for his upcoming film Sikandar, Khan was asked about the threats. He responded, “It’s all up to God. What is written is written.”
The 59-year-old actor admitted that the heavy security around him has made life difficult. He mentioned that moving around with so many guards can be challenging.
Last year, two men on a bike fired shots outside his home, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Investigations revealed the attack was meant to intimidate him. It was allegedly ordered by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is angered by Khan’s involvement in the 1998 blackbuck case.
Khan has received multiple threats over the years, but he continues to focus on his work. His next film, Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, releases this Sunday. It stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi.
